My name is Valentina, but you can call me Val.

Here's my story, what's yours?
My neighbor's People Magazine was delivered to our house by mistake. I was going to give it back. Accidentally, I came upon a picture of Tokio Hotel. I didn't really care, put the magazine down, and forgot about it. But that picture haunted me, I was taken with their look. So I went and found the magazine again and searched for the picture I had seen. I found a little snippet about them, looked them up online, listened to Schrei, and that was that. I was hooked.

One day I was on meebo because someone wanted to ask me something, and while I was waiting for them to reply to my IM, I decided to check out the meebo rooms. Back then, I still thought it was spelled "Tokyo Hotel" so I was surprised why there were no rooms dedicated to this subject. So I made one. When nobody showed up, I realized that something was wrong and googled a little. Oh, Tokio Hotel, with an i! I looked that up in Meebo rooms, and there were hundreds dedicated to the the band. I made one anyway, and called it "tokiohotelofficial", even though there was nothing official about it. It was quite successful, and it was up a few months before I had an enlightened moment, if you will.

I found a networking site called Ning, again by accident. Immediately, I looked for any ning sites associated with the band. There were a few, but none of them had more than 3 or 4 members, and they were drab and boring. I thought...huh. What if I made one? What if I added all these great features, kept updating it every day, and spammed my butt off for new members? Lo and behold - you are on it now, reading these words. And the original chatroom... it's taking a little break right now.

As you can see, my obsession runs deep. But I have a feeling that this might be like the time I loved bananas and ate too many at one time - I really got sick of them, and now I'm only moderately warm about them. I don't want that to happen with Tokio Hotel, they are way more than bananas to me. That's why I'm trying to take it slow, not spend all my free time on the site, and read a book once in a while. But I don't think my obsession is getting a bit better. It's truely like a drug, the more I try the more I want. My favorite site on the Internet is the one I made myself, and not many people (besides Chad and Steve, who created YouTube) can say that.

I've just got a wee problem, I just edited my page, changed the theme, edited my "About Me" section etc.. And then I added a picture from PhotoFunia as the side image, and I clicked on the option "Tile picture".. but whenever I go to my page, the image doesn't show up, what could be wrong?
